I'm not from around here, but I've recently found this wiki and was instantly and utterly astounded at the amazing effort you all have taken in documenting every detail of one of the densest mythologies ever produced by a single two hour movie.
I've also noticed that this wiki has somewhat of a history with the problem of people just making stuff up. I decided to step in and try to help because I think I might have a solution for you.
My idea is this: create a Fanon wiki. If you don't know what that is, a fanon wiki is basically a second and separate wiki in which people are allowed to make up whatever they want, within certain guidelines. For example, a guideline may state that directly copying licensed monsters from another work would be prohibited. Another may state that no page is allowed to reference events after the summer of 2012 since we really don't know anything about what happened after the old gods returned.
As a shining example of a fanon wiki at its greatest, I suggest you take a look at the RWBY Fanon Wiki. It has hundreds of pages all filed to the brim with fan-made content that peacefully coexists in a single unified fanon universe.
Now, I've already started a Star Wars fanon using these same ideals of unity and consistency. I have too much on my plate to start a second wiki at this time. However, I'd be more than happy to act as a consultant on the project, if such a thing is needed.
I don't know if anyone's going to read this, or if there's even anyone still on this wiki after two years. I just thought I'd share the idea because it seemed like an elegant solution to a problem this wiki seems to have suffered greatly by. Thank you for your time.
(BTW, here's a link to my Star Wars fanon wiki that I started. It features very similar rules to the above RWBY fanon, but stated in a somewhat different fashion for if the concept still seems foreign.)
