The Dolls are a group of Monsters imprisoned in the Facility. They were listed on the whiteboard and were bet on by the Kitchen Staff. They were seen during the second wave of the System Purge.

Physical Descriptions and Characteristics[]

The Dolls are a group of Monsters that resemble an ordinary group of humans, perhaps a family. They include one older female, an older male, a younger female and a younger male. Each of them are dressed in formal, all black clothing; the older male in a suit, the older female in a pea coat, the younger female wearing gloves, a dress, with her hair in pigtails and the younger male in a black hoodie. The Dolls are distinguished by their white, expressionless masks and their calm demeanor during the chaos of the purge.

In the cabin's cellar, one of their iconic masks is what summons them.

Appearances[]

The Dolls are first seen in their cube, barely out of view during scene when the camera pans-out. Later, the older female and younger male were seen on a mini monitor when Sitterson was looking for Marty and Dana. During the system purge, The Dolls were released during the second wave of Monsters, exiting their elevator quietly and slowly. Later, they are seen on a camera monitor, binding and gagging Facility workers together with tape before dousing them in gasoline and setting them on fire.

Outside of the film, the Dolls were some of the featured Monsters during the 2013 Halloween Horror Nights haunted house attraction, where scare actors dressed as members of the Doll 'family'.

Inspiration[]

The Dolls are most likely inspired by iconic horror characters that wear masks while killing, such as Michael Myers. They could also be inspired by horror films depicting groups or families of killers, such as antagonists from The Strangers and The Purge series.
