Ronald the Intern (Tom Lenk) was an intern at The Facility underneath the cabin in the woods and probably the youngest employee of The Organization.
Ronald shared the pot in the betting pool with Maintenance and won when the Buckner Family was chosen by Dana. Later, during the party scene, is shown saying "I'm the intern!" He is shown as socially awkward and kind of dorky.
During the Purge, he is seen on one of the security monitors holding a sign that says "Help me! A dragonbat has my scent. I'm the intern, PLEASE" It is unknown if Ronald's fate was at the hands of the dragonbat or by any other monster in the facility, as it is not shown to us. Considering that the ritual failed it is with 100% certainty he is dead.

In The Cabin in the Woods: The Official Visual Companion, Joss Whedon said in his afterword that there are things that can never be known. Then Joss Whedon added, "How did Ronald the Intern survive the end of the world and eventually end up ruling the ancient gods?".
Tom Lenk previously played Andrew Wells in the Joss Whedon shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.
